Suzan Tunca

Dr. Suzan Tunca works as a dance researcher, perfomer, choreographer and educator. After an extensive career in dance, she completed an MA in artistic research at the University of Amsterdam and the third cycle performing arts research program DAS Third (Amsterdam University of the Arts). At PhDArts she explored a dancing language by performatively interweaving bodily theory and discursive practice. She is currently responsible for the ICK Academy, accompanies artistic research of dance artists in professional and educational context at ICK and at among others ACPA Leiden University, DAS Choreography, Codarts and Fontys. She is member of Route Kunst, an advisory steering group for arts research at the Dutch Science Agenda.
